MEET BRENT
Born and raised in Lexington County, Brent is a proud alumnus of Lexington High School. After obtaining his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting, Brent earned his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law and became a member of the South Carolina Bar Association. Brent went into private practice in 2002 as an associate attorney at the Dooley Law Firm in Lexington, concentrating on real estate transactions and entity formation.
Brent comes from a real estate family as his grandfather, Ted O. McGee, Sr. founded McGee Real Estate Company in West Columbia in 1961. Throughout Brent’s career, he has experienced all sides of a real estate transaction – as a closing attorney, real estate agent, lender, buyer, and seller. Brent founded his own practice in December of 2018 and is currently located at 334 Old Chapin Road in Lexington.
Brent has spent numerous years as a youth football, basketball, and baseball coach. He served on the Board of Directors of the Lexington Rotary Club and is currently an Elder at Saxe Gotha Presbyterian Church. Brent is married to his college sweetheart, Stephanie, a middle school teacher in Lexington School District One. They have three children – a son in pharmacy school, a daughter at Anderson University, and a daughter at Lexington School High School.
